The South West Scotland Community Rail Partnership has vacancies for Board Members from across South West Scotland.
Board Members should have an interest in the work of the Partnership and are responsible for steering the organisation towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure the Partnership has adequate resources to advance its mission.
The Board meets at least four times a year and its members are elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting, although they may also be co-opted at any time by the Board to serve until the next AGM. Travel and out-of-pocket expenses are paid.
We are particularly keen to hear from anyone possessing the following skill sets: accountancy, human resources, company law, public transport, third sector organisations.
Board meetings are held in various locations including Girvan and Kilmarnock.
